Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, being in its entirety of revelation from God to man under Divine inspiration and providence; that its statements are correct, and that it is the only Divine infallible standard of faith and practice. (Romans 15:4; II Timothy 3:15; John 17:17)
We believe in the Holy Trinity
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit as recorded in Romans 12:3-8, I Corinthians 12:1-31, and Ephesians 4:11-13. Realizing that God’s purpose of building up His Kingdom is by way of His Spirit through His servants.
We believe that salvation is free to all those who accept the conditions imposed; namely, turning from sin, repentance toward God, faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16; II Corinthians 6:2)
We believe the Church of Christ is an institution of Divine origin, which includes all true Christians of whatever name; that it is also the mystical body of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 4:15-16)
We believe in the Holy Trinity
- God the Father, eternal and infinite in His wisdom, love and power, the Creator of all things, in whom we live, and move, and have our being. (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 40:28; Matthew 6:6)
- And in Jesus Christ our Lord, the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; who died for sins, who was raised bodily from the dead for our justification; who ascended into heaven as our high-priest and mediator; who now is the only means of salvation; who is the only foundation for and head of the Church; who will return to receive His own. (I Timothy 3:16; John 14:6; I Corinthians 3:11; Colossians 1:18)
- And in the Holy Spirit, the comforter, sent from God to convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of the judgment, whereby we are sealed unto the day of redemption. (John 14:16; 16:7-11; Ephesians 1:13)
